Manchester for Europe

Manchester For Europe has been set up to campaign for the UK to remain in the European Union; to organise events and enable debate, friendship and communication, with the aim of breaking down barriers and bringing Europeans together. European Movement Manchester

The European Movement for Greater Manchester is a local branch of the national grass-roots, independent, pro-European organisation, working to give a voice to those who believe that Britain’s future lies side by side with our European partners. The European Movement UK is a member of the European Movement International which links an international pro-European network, active in more than 40 countries.

European Affairs Society at the University of Manchester


The mission of the European Affairs Society shall be to:
 
– Provide a platform for students with an interest in European Affairs.
– Foster an impartial place for an exchange of opinions and ideas concerning matters of European interest.
– Engage the public at large with information about the European Union and its operations in a balanced manner open to all views.
– Improve the cultural experience of EAS members by inviting high-profile speakers from outside and within our University.
– Engage in collaboration with the Jean Monnet Centre for Excellence (JMCE) and other local, national and international stakeholders.
– Build bridges among like-minded students and create a thriving and fruitful network for EAS members.
